Mission
The Saint Louis University Public Policy Journal (SPJ) will promote the development of professional and academic interests of the student body aligned with the field of public policy studies. The Saint Louis Public Policy Journal is committed to:
- improving the scholarly development of graduate students enrolled in the Department of Public Policy Studies;
- creating a forum for all Saint Louis University students to engage in academic work pertaining to the field of Public Policy;
- facilitating academic development through peer-based critiques, emphasizing providing students with the feedback necessary to meet high standards of quality scholarly work;
- promoting creative submissions that utilize technology and media forms besides traditional papers.
Through the objectives outlined herein, the SPJ seeks to establish a public policies student community, integrating its pursuits with the Jesuit values of the university. The SPJ is holistically dedicated to advancing forums for on-going dialogue that allow students to explore and develop their interests.
