SLU Public Policy Studies

This is an invitation for anyone interested in learning more about peacemaking and non-violence to consider enrolling in Foundations of Non-Violent Peacemaking (SWRK 417-undergraduate/ SWRK 717-graduate).  This course focuses on essential knowledge and skills necessary to engage in the peacemaking process.  Participants explore and analyze their own understanding of the concepts of peace, conflict, and non-violence.  Emphasis is placed on the development and application of practical peacemaking strategies.  The course is open to junior and senior undergraduate students and all graduate students.  The course will be offered in spring 2010 on Thursday afternoon from 3:00-5:30.  For additional information contact Dr. Jim Allen at allenj3@slu.edu.
