The University of North Texas Seeks Assistant Professor
The Department of Public Administration in the College of Public Affairs and Community Service invites applications for an assistant professor position starting August 15, 2010. This is a tenure-track appointment.
Responsibilities:
Primary teaching responsibilities are in the department’s NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration program and its PhD program.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in public administration or related field at the time the appointment begins. Candidates must have teaching experience appropriate to rank. Applications from candidates with research and teaching interests in human resource management and/or nonprofit management are particularly desired.

The University of North Texas, the largest and most comprehensive university in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has more than 34,000 students, one-fourth of whom are graduate students. The M.P.A. program is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the area of city management and urban policy. The department offers a B.S. in Emergency Administration and Planning, the first of its kind in the nation, and a Ph.D. in public administration and management.
